About About
Born in South Wales, UK in 1983, I grew up interested and inspired by the creative arts. On the edge of seventeen I was gifted my first camera by my father, and it was at that point that my interest with the medium began.
Over the past 20 years I have produced published works for clients such as: The Cardiff Devils, Elite League Ice Hockey, S4C, Sky Sports, ESPN, The Hockey Hall of Fame (Toronto) and NHL, as well as a number of independent businesses to help launch products and build brand awareness through graphic design work and commercial photography.
In recent years, my work has been centred around documentary and travel. My preference is that of chance experiences over staged imagery; visual explorations, serendipitous encounters and uninfluenced intervention.
I am currently exploring alternative analogue processes and experimenting with sustainable photographic practices in the darkroom. As a preservationist by nature, I’m interested in traditional photographic processes, the unpredictable qualities of film and becoming more environmentally conscious within my practice, aligning with my ecological values of living a plant-based lifestyle.
Course Leader: FD Photography at CYC (awarded by University of South Wales).
