Doris Nieh Asian/American photographer was born September 10th, 1936 and died December 25th, 2002 at 66 years of age.

Nieh had been residing in Los Angeles, California at the time of her death. 

 

These one of a kind vintage negatives are from Nieh's estate and formed part of her personal archive. Doris Nieh was a photographer for Life Magazine and many other publications, she was also part of the social scene in Hollywood and New York in the 1950's, 60's and 70's.

Nieh photographed some of the major screen greats including Steve McQueen, Burt Reynolds, Bruce Lee, Marlon Brando and Director Alfred Hitchcock.
